Choose Your Finish: Gloss for Polished and Satin for Honed Stone
StoneGuard® is available in two distinct finishes to match your design vision. StoneGuard® Gloss enhances the depth and shine of polished stones, while StoneGuard® Satin preserves the matte, natural look of honed surfaces. Both options enhance the stone's details while providing invisible protection.

High Heat Resistance up to 350°F
In lab testing, StoneGuard® has been proven to resist temperatures up to 350° Fahrenheit. While we always recommend using trivets for extreme heat, StoneGuard® is highly heat-resistant, so accidental contact with hot pots and pans won't damage the film or your stone.

StoneGuard® vs. Traditional Sealers: The Acid Etching Difference
Traditional sealants and waxes are designed to protect your stone from chemical etching. They're not designed to protect from acidic etching, which is the majority of the household items we use daily. Sealants and waxes will not protect your stone from acidic etching from things like wine, turmeric, citrus, pasta sauce, or vinegar. StoneGuard® creates a clear protective barrier on top of the stone, shielding it from etching, stains, and heat while keeping the natural look.
Easy Care & Maintenance
Maintaining StoneGuard® is simple. While the film is resistant to common household cleaners (even bleach or ammonia), we recommend using mild soap and water or pH-neutral cleaners for maximum longevity. Always use soft sponges or microfiber towels to wipe down your surfaces, no harsh scrubbing required.
Fully Removable & Replaceable
StoneGuard® is designed to be removable. If you ever decide to remove it, our technicians can remove it without damaging the underlying stone. Your countertop will look exactly as it did the day we installed the film. This flexibility allows you to replace the film as needed, while your stone remains perfectly preserved beneath.
A "Sacrificial Layer" for Ultimate Protection
Think of StoneGuard® as a durable "sacrificial layer." It absorbs the scratches, etch marks, and wear so your marble or quartzite doesn't have to. When the film eventually shows signs of wear after years of use, it can be replaced, leaving you with a brand-new surface again.
Anti-Microbial Technology for Hygienic Kitchens
StoneGuard® features a nano-structured coating with an anti-microbial top layer. This inhibits bacterial growth, making your countertops cleaner, safer, and more hygienic for food preparation, perfect for busy family kitchens.
